So pretty...

I love it when artists use a monochromatic colour scheme. It's simple, yet very effective. And I also think is suits Liza very much. Sweet, delicate, pure and demure, Liza also reminds me of a snowflake. Every bit as special and unique, yet hidden between so many others that she remains unseen and overlooked. In the shadow of her older twin brother...(which is pretty ironic, considering he's the dark one)

Speaking of which, if you add Kazamir to the picture, this scene also reminds me the winter woods. To me the twins represents two separate parts of the woods. Liza is heading towards a clearing or the edge of the woods, the cold light reflecting off the snow, while Kazamir is in the deepest most darkest part of the woods, completely cut off from the rest of the world...

I really love this artwork. It just so beautiful and wonderful and amazing...it's just to good to describe in words.

I just love winter, especially if it snows. Unfortunately since I live down under, the seasons are back to front and it's almost summer now. It doesn't snow where I live either, sadly
It can get very cold though. Ah well, gotta love Australia, ay
