KISSU

Finally finished. I've been doing this forever... Since beginning of January I think... xD
I love it! Finally a long gif that has a story ^^ I'm so happy!
I had to make a lot of different scenes and camera drives because I was in pursuit of a movie clip.

This gif was inspired by this artwork I did in November 2012:



A few conversations led to an idea of Sleeping Beauty and a kiss to wake her up so this is where it ended up to... ^^

God I love the colors and shades in this *_*


Somehow, it feels very corny to see BJ kissing Mai hohoho...
Hmm, no comment lol...
But it's romantic. I don't care how much this goes off-genre, I love kisses too much to give a damn about it I hope you enjoy it too!


There's a lot left for interpretation too
So what's the story? Mai sleeps, Luka kisses her, Mai wakes up to wonder if it was all a dream. And that answer we may never know xD
Again, this doesn't involve the original story...

What Mai says in the end is
-”yume...” (= dream)

Of course I always imagine them talking in Japanese, not just the cast who are Japanese but everyone~ I just can't watch anime in any other language than the original Japanese. That's very common among the long advanced animefans~

Once again, extremely good and valuable practice. I learned so much more about animation and drawing. Seriously, only by making things and trying them out you'll learn.
